Only half way there!

So today was my 2nd exam, and it was much easier than I thought it would be. I mean, it was hard but most of the questions where mainly based on the weekly quizzes I did. There was one question in particular that I thought most people didn't study on which was on the CARROTS and what it was used for. That was definatly one acronym that I memorised =]

And yet again, I sat next to a different guy who also fell asleep during the exam 6.6 But the funny thing was, in the last 25-30 minutes left the guy woke up and quickly started answering the questions he left out.

For this exam, I wasn't worried about studying hard for this exam. It was because it was mainly about information systems and a well know fact about me is that I'm good in this area. This is thanks to my brother-in-law. Some told me to major in information systems or information technology because I seem to know a lot about it. But to tell you the truth, I actually hate anything to do with compters like IS and IT. Using a computer and the software is fine but majoring in it is not something I would do.

So anyways 2 exams done and 2 more to go. My next exam is Accounting on Monday.

1 down and 3 to go

So today was my first exam and I'm happy it was my economics exam. =] Because it was the one subject that I never understood the most. I mean, I attended all of my lectures and tutorials but yet I didn't understand it. So hopefully, I manage to get a pass mark (50%) in the exam, so I don't need to do the unit EVER again!!!

The funny thing during the exam was the guy sitting next to me, on my right. Initally he did his exam but I think about half way during the exam, he decided that either too much thinking was making him sleepy or that sleeping would give him the answer to the questions. Cause all of a sudden, he laid his head down on the table and started sleeping for about a good 30 minutes. O.O

Then he woke up and started to yawn and then commenced writing again. I could see this through the corner of my eye while I was writing.
The one thing that I hate the most is when people start to leave and then your left all alone. I mean, when you start your exam you have people all around you. Then towards the end, they slowly get up and leave. Then after awhile, you look around and the seats (where people had sat) are empty. And you find yourself sitting alone in the middle. This is because there is no-one sitting in front, at the back or either side of you. To me, it makes you look like a loner or that no-one wants to be your friend ='[

So anyways, I have done 1 exam and theres 3 exams to go. Which my 2nd exam is tomorrow on Business Information System.

1st shop of Coffee Prince

1st shop of Coffee Prince, a 2007 Korean drama, is a drama that is a love story between a tomboyish female and a young male entrepreneur.

The synopsis of this drama is that Choi Han Kyul (portrayed by Gong Yoo) is the son of a rich family. His family forces him into marriage, yet he doesn’t believe in love nor marriage. Go Eun Chan (portrayed by Yoon Eun Hye) is a 24 years old tomboyish female who is quite often mistaken for a male. Her sister often uses her as her “boyfriend” to get rid of boys who follow her around. She has the responsibility of taking care of her mother and sister and takes on any job that is possible.

Eun Chan meets Han Kyul during a robbery when one of her sister’s boyfriends attempts to steal a handbag. However, Eun Chan’s delivery motorcycle was damage and decides to collect some money from Han Kyul to fix it. Han Kyul insults Eun Chan of being a thief because Han Kyul got the impression that she had planned the whole incident. However, Han Kyul decides to hire Eun Chan was his “false lover” to escape the blind dates that his grandmother has been planning. However, still unknowing to Han Kyul that Eun Chan is actually a girl.

Meanwhile, Han Kyul’s cousin Choi Han Seong (portrayed by Lee Sun Gyun), who is a music producer, and Han Yoo Joo (portrayed by Chae Jung Ahn), a famous artist, we’re lovers for about 8 years. But they’re relationship ended, when Yoo Joo broke up with Han Seong to move to New York. 2 years later their paths cross when Yoo Joo decided to move back home.

After getting an ultimatum from his grandmother, Han Kyul decided to take charge of a damaged old coffee shop. He renamed the shop “Coffee Prince” to show his abilities to both his grandmother and Yoo Joo, who he had a secret crush on for 9 years. In order to make business prosper he decided to attract female customers by only hiring good looking males as employees. Eun Chan was employed by Han Kyul, but still unaware Eun Chan was actually a girl. Eun Chan takes the offer because of her current struggle with money. Soon after, as business was prospering, Eun Chan and Han Kyul feelings start to spark. However, as Han Kyul was still unaware that Eun Chan is a girl, he starts to question his sexuality and tries to distance himself from her.

What I liked about this drama is that, you can’t run away from love. I mean, throughout this drama Han Kyul tried to distance himself from Eun Chan and vice versa. But they couldn’t. Even when Han Kyul still thought that Eun Chan was a boy, he tried to stay away from her, but just could not. One of the quotes that Han Kyul said was, “I have to see you at work every day. And if I don’t then I would be sad.” (Well not to the exact but it’s along that line :D) And this was coming from a guy that didn’t believe in love.

Epic moments that everyone has at least (or will) experience

It’s funny really that when you are in the middle of studying you somehow all a sudden feel hungry. The funniest situation is when you’re in the middle of an assessment (aka a test or exam) and all a sudden your stomach rumbles. And the person sitting next to you can hear it. How embarrassing?!? Don’t worry if this happened to you because this happens to nearly everyone. :D

Another epic moment is saying the wrong words at the wrong time or saying it but everyone getting the wrong idea. For me, the most recent and the one that I can remember clearly was when I was at uni. A group of friends and me were discussing what we have broken in our life. And I for some reason zoned out for a minute or so. So when I was zoning out my friends stopped talking about the topic and there was that really awkward silence you tend to get. Anyways, all of sudden I turned back to my friends and said (in kind of a much louder voice) that I’ve broken 3 washing machines in my life. They all gave me a blank face and one of my friends looked at me and burst out laughing. Then I was confused for a second. Then he kind of explained that my ‘answer’ as all a sudden random. So I replied that I thought that ‘we’ were still talking about what we’ve broken. And another friend replied that they stopped talking about a minute ago. So it was really awkward at that point.

Which comes to my next epic moment, the awkward silence. You know when you and friends starts to have a conversation and all a sudden there is that complete drop dead silence. And sometimes you get another person who is still continuing talking and not noticing it and you hear what they are talking about. Oh! Another is when you all a sudden jump into another conversation and you get the wrong idea of what they are talking about. This has happened to me quite recently at my friend’s 19th birthday party.

But moments like this make us who we are. Also it makes our friends or who we are with laugh.
