Diary #4: K-Drama Confessions

All of a sudden, I have realized that I have gone through a K-Drama phase T_T ... from one drama to the next .. ALL K-Drama :)

So here's the list of the ones I've seen and what I rate them as:

Heartstrings/ You've Fallen For Me/ 넌 내게 반했어

Its a 2011 music type drama. It comprises of 15 episodes + 1 Special Episode. It's basically about 2 characters from 2 different music majoring backgrounds. Lee Shin (portrayed by Jung Yong Hwa from CN Blue) who majors in modern music and Lee Kyu Won (portrayed by Park Shin Hye) who majors in traditonal Korean instruments. 

The drama at the start was a bit confusing and didn't give me that 'erg' to keep watching. However, after watching a few episodes, I managed to really like it :). 

I would give this drama a 8 out of 10. One thing I really loved about this drama is Kang Min Hyuk's (the drummer from CN blue) character (Yeo Joon Hee). He is soooo adorable and kawaii. He makes the drama sooo sweet and lovable as well :)

Shining Inheritance/ Brilliant Legacy/ 찬란한 유산

This drama is a 2009, 28 episode drama. It has a Cinderella storyline to it. I really enjoyed this drama and would give it a 9 out of 10. I was an interesting drama to watch because it heavily emphasized what money can make people do. Example; greed, wealth, power etc ...

Personal Taste/ Personal Preference/ 개인의 취향

Personal Preference is a 2010 drama consisting of 16 episodes. To me, this drama kind of developed a similar storyline to the other Korean drama Full House. I would give this drama a 8.5 out of 10. I think most people would watch this drama along with City Hunter because Lee Min Ho (well known for his role in Boys Before Flowers) is in it.

Secret Garden/ 시크릿 가든

Secret Garden is a 2010 fantasy/ melodrama, consisting of 20 episodes and (I think) 3 special episodes. I would rate this drama a 9 out of 10. I really enjoyed watching this drama :) . 

At the start, I thought that it may have the same storyline as the novel 'Secret Garden' where a girl and boy discover a secret garden. However, it wasn't. Instead it was mainly about 2 people meet and all a sudden switches bodies (actually their souls switch over) and through that they must find out how to reverse the situation and get back to normal.

It was also mainly about how fate can bring people together, fixing up what has happened in the past and to start a brand new future.
